We have been friends for about 30 years!
I started in rescue as a volunteer for a local cat rescue. After gaining a little experience, I realised I could probably do more if I became independent offering, trapping services to the local community. I started with an automatic trap, then my husband made me a “drop trap” because a cat I was trying to help wouldn’t go inside the auto-trap. The drop trap worked like a dream, and we ended up adopting the cat, who now lives a life of Riley with us! Her name is Bentley.
While trying to help the local strays I developed a great relationship with several cat rescues, and now work with them providing the groundwork, that being:
Trapping, transport, Investigation of feral colonies, vet runs, etc. My good friend Mandy became curious about what I did and asked to come along one day, and now she is my right-hand woman! She is a fantastic trapper and is great at “reeling me in” when I get a little over passionate about things!
